English:
What is Peplum? it's a ruffle or mini-skirt attached to the waist of a skirt, top or dress. It has the power to minimize your waist but achieves it by inciting a flurry of attention around the hips. Depending on how you wear it "this little flourish is worth the risk if it winds up accentuating something positive."

The only way I could fit peplum into my style would be if I styled it with something a little badass...like leather ;) But it is very lovely on many.

I love the peplum trend -- on other people. Not on me. I think it is because I have such a long torso and such short, little legs. It looks awkward.

ReplyDeletei automatically think yes for other people, & no for me. i'd don't want to add any extra bulk around that area on my body. it would depend on how a particular item fit me, ya know?
ReplyDeleteI really really want to try this trend!! I just haven't found the perfect piece for me yet! I think I'm leaning toward a shirt first and ease myself into a dress lol
