The Best Eye Cream For You? Let Me Help YOU Find It!!!

Ask any woman of a certain age and she’ll tell you that looking younger is at the top of her wish list. But when it comes to figuring out how to get ageless skin, well, most of us wouldn’t know the answer if it was staring us in the face. Specially when it comes to our eye area.

The area around our eyes is the first place to show visible signs of aging—fine lines and wrinkles, (yikes). The skin here tends to be thinner, drier and more sensitive than any other area on your face, so gently pat a pea-size amount of cream on the undereye area with your ring finger, which applies the least pressure. Start below the inner corners of eyes and move out toward your temples. Pick the formula that will attack your trouble spots.

 If You Have... Puffy Eyes

As you age, circulation slows and eye ligaments weaken, pushing fat forward. Apply a cream with aloe vera to soothe swelling or caffeine to boost circulation. Origins GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream ($29.50; has caffeine from coffee and ginseng.

If You Have... Dark Circles

Blame heredity for raccoon eyes, caused by pooled blood in blood vessels. To promote circulation, use cream with caffeine or grapeseed extract. Both are in Good Skin Labs Eyliplex-2 Eye Lift + Circle Reducer ($39.50; Kohls), a day gel and a night balm.

If You Have... Crow’s-feet

Over time, collagen, a firming protein, breaks down and causes wrinkles. Choose a cream with amino acids, which trigger collagen production. L’OrĂ©al Paris Collagen Micro-Pulse Eye ($20; at drugstores) even has a vibrating massager to stimulate blood flow.

If You Have... Crepey Skin

Got bags? When skin loses collagen, it becomes less elastic and sags. Apply an eye cream with hyaluronic acid, like Mario Badescu Hyaluronic Eye Cream ($18;, to lock in moisture and kick-start collagen production.

Want Shiny and Healthy Hair? Let me show you how!!!

Hi my most amazing and beautiful followers,

So I wanted to share my DIY home remedies that help me keep my hair from looking dry, dull and just plain healthy and shiny looking.

And this post goes out to all of you that had sent me e-mails asking me about my hair routine and trust me my hair is far from been fabulous but what I'm about to share with all of you are my religiously DO every month hair routine so ENJOY!!

Baking Soda Shampoo
YES...really...first off you will need to strip your hair to remove all product build up. We absolutely need this in order to have silky bouncy beautiful hair. We use hairspray, gel, hair styling cremes, mousse, shiny serums., etc., etc., etc. therefore we need to get rid of all the product that our hair has build up through the years, months, weeks, days and strip it.

What you'll need:

Baking Soda & Water
2/3 cup of baking soda
2 cups of water

What to do:
Mix the baking soda and water and stir the solution (take something to stir it in the shower it will separate quickly) then pour it over your hair! Please note that it won't lather like shampoo and it will be a bit difficult to wash out..BUT this will strip your hair of all the product that is left in it.
Warning: Your hair will not feel soft!! You will probably want to use some conditioner either that day or the next day.
Wash your hair like you normally would the next day and trust me your hair will feel so soft and silky is truly a miracle.

DIY Protein Mask for Shiny Hair
Your hair is made up of proteins, which can break up from exposure the sun, chemicals and harsh conditions - so what better way to strengthen your strands than to put some back!!

What you'll need:
 2 eggs
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup olive oil

What to do:
1. Beat the eggs until they become frothy and add in the olive oil.
2. Whisk until it's fully blended together and add in the yogurt, mixing until it's a creamy consistency. Then add the honey.
3. Comb out any knots and tangles in your hair, and spread the mixture from your roots to your ends, combing it through.
4. Wrap your hair in a warm towel and for twenty to thirty minutes before your rinse it out and shampoo.

Want to Shine-Enhance your hair? try this...
Apple Cider-Vinegar, Trust me; it works..Simply shampoo hair as usual, when hair is rinsed, blot out excess water. Then, work apple cider vinegar through your hair until is fully saturated. Let sit for about 3 minutes, then rise. Condition if needed.

Blogger Style: The Warm-Weather Transition

Happy Blogger Tuesday, lovelies!
Is the weather in your city nice yet? (If so, consider me way jealous.) Where I’m located, it’s still all over the map–sunny and 75 degrees one day, rainy and 50 degrees the next. I desperately want to break out my pretty li’l dresses and wedge heels and call it summer but, unfortunately, it’s not warm enough for that just yet.
If you’re on the same boat, don’t fret. I’ve enlisted a little style help from blogger Marina over at Fashion.MakeUp.Lifestyle. She’s shown us exactly how to transition into the warmer part of spring, without sacrificing any sartorial sensibilities along the way. Let’s take a peek at her look, ladies!
Try a white blazer. I am lovin’ Marina’s white blazer (it reminds me of the one in the back of my closet that I obviously need to pull out ASAP!). Try picking up a similar piece of your own. The white is fresh for spring, but the heavier weight will still keep you warm on days, or even mornings, when the cool-weather chill hasn’t quite worn off yet. A very chic option!
Cuff your jeans and show off your heels. A springtime fashion tip: cuff those jeans! Just like Marina has done here, rolling the hem will allow you to highlight your gorgeous heels. Marina’s cut-out pumps are so on-trend for the season, and I love that this trick has made a pair of gray, neutral heels standout.
Layer, layer, layer. For spring, layers are an absolute must. Marina has on a lightweight tee underneath her blazer, so in case she gets a little too hot during the day, she can easily slip it off and just wear the shirt (with those awesome, long necklaces, of course!).
Use a bold nail color. As the weather gets warmer and you’re showing off your nails (sans gloves) and toenails (sans covered shoes), choose bold nail polish. Think of this piece of your beauty routine as if you’re adding an accessory to your outfit. If you’re keeping it chic with all neutral items, amp up your look with a statement shade of nail color, like Marina has done here; a pretty purple.
Okay, kids. Now, go check out Marina’s blog (which is packed with personal style posts, makeup reviews, and great photos!). And of course, have a fab Tuesday.
